Lately in Writing for Publication, we have been reading the non-fiction investigative journalism novel Chew on Tris, by Eric Schlosser and Charles Wilson. According to the author, this book is about "Everything You Don't Want To Know About Fast Food." This book discusses how large fast-food chains create their most famous and successful meals including McDonald's Chicken Mcnuggets, Burger King's Whopper, and Taco Bell's Burritos. It shows you pictures of what fast-food does to your body.
I feel like I will never visit a McDonald's again thanks to my teacher as well as Schlosser and Wilson.
